Flavin Farms is a full-service equine facility offering boarding and training services at affordable prices. Located at the edge of Vasquez Rocks Park, we offer individualized care in a serene environment. In addition to our horse boarding facilities, we also offer training, lessons, access to miles of trail and riding arena and round pen.
We strive for a positive, collaborative and supportive environment. Our goal is to provide a place where you and your horse can truly relax and enjoy your time together. Other horse boarding facilities like to nickel and dime owners — in addition to paying a flat fee for stall space, you’ll be billed for hay, feeding, turnout, blanketing, bedding and more. At Flavin Farms, we offer a boutique experience for you and your horse at one all-inclusive price with no upcharges.
Horses are fed high-quality alfalfa, timothy and/or orchard hay three times per day. If you supply separate feed for your horse, we can feed that as well.
Everything is included in each horse boarding package. If needed, we can also schedule farrier visits, vaccinations, and deworming to keep your horse in the best health possible. In addition to horse boarding and routine care, we offer services to help your horse feel their best. We offer massage, reiki, acupuncture, and equine chiropractic care upon request.
Flavin Farms offers a quiet, peaceful environment, and our smaller size means each horse gets plenty of love and each rider gets plenty of space! We watch over your horse when you aren’t here to ensure they’re relaxed, happy, and healthy.
If you choose to take advantage of our training services, we offer a supportive environment and strive to help you reach your goals. Whether you’re a beginner looking to master fundamental skills or a veteran rider wanting to gain an edge over the competition, we can help!
Flavin Farms was founded in January of 2022 by a loving owner who has over 40 years of riding, training, multi-discipline competition and horse care experience. Having owned and operated a 420-acre boarding and training facility in Wyoming, she wanted to relocate to sunny weather and open a smaller facility where each horse gets the attention they deserve, free from snow, and Flavin Farms was born!
We’re proud to offer horse boarding where we treat your horse like our own. Whether you’re a serious competitor or someone who enjoys the occasional trail ride, Flavin Farms can offer what you need.
We offer a supportive, caring, family-oriented environment that will help you and your horse reach your full potential. If you think Flavin Farms might be the right home for your horse, call us today to book a tour!
We are a truly different horse boarding experience. We offer nice facilities, in a quiet and peaceful environment with beautiful scenery located next to a forever undeveloped wildlife preserve and park. We are a full-service solution for your horse boarding needs. We make sure your horse is tended to and cared for, even if you don't have time to come out every day. From grooming to clipping to conditioning rides so that you have a good ride when you come to enjoy your horse!
Larger horse boarding facilities often have dirty, dusty barns — there’s simply too much for facility managers to keep up with. These types of environments can trigger allergies and lead to respiratory disorders in horses. At Flavin Farms, we believe every animal deserves to live in a clean environment and breathe healthy air. The owner lives on-site, and all facilities are cleaned, dusted, and deodorized daily.
We believe you can never be too safe when it comes to your horse, so you are welcome to install your own devices to monitor your equine. Our barn is equipped with Wi-Fi so you can check in on your horse 24/7. The owner lives on the premises, and someone is here at all times to monitor the horses and provide emergency care if needed. Your horse is in good hands with us!

Whether your horse prefers to lounge in a stall or be out in the paddock as often as possible, we have a boarding option for you. You can choose from four different horse boarding plans:
We’re proud to offer a boutique boarding experience at an affordable price. After all, you shouldn’t have to pay a fortune for your horse to live a comfortable life. We invite you to visit us and see if we’re the right place for your horse!
Some boarding and training facilities focus on only one discipline, but Flavin Farms believes in embracing the diversity of the equestrian world. We offer training and lessons in the following general and specialized disciplines:
We also offer instruction and training for horses and riders of all levels. Everyone is welcome — we take pride in helping you achieve your goals for yourself and your horse. Whether you want to take part in a regular lesson program or just benefit from the occasional riding lesson, we encourage you to train with us!
Our main barn features spacious, 12′ x 12′ stalls with attached paddocks. Stalls include several comfort features to keep your horse happy — all are equipped with rubber mats, automatic waterers, fans, and lights.
Our shed row barn also includes 12′ x 12′ stalls, with attached 12' x 6' covered in-and-outs, each equipped with rubber mats.
Our lower barn also includes 12′ x 12′ stalls, with attached 12' x 18' in-and-outs, equipped with rubber mats.
We also offer a wash stall equipped with hot water to give your horse a comfortable bathing experience.
Our 100′ x 200′ outdoor arena was designed with safety and versatility in mind. Footing is a mixture of dirt and sand, and it’s regularly groomed with our own arena groomer.
The arena includes a range of jumps, poles and other obstacles if you choose to use them and can be easily cleared for flatwork as well. We also recently added LED lighting to ensure a safe, fun experience if you wish to ride after dark.
If you want to work one-on-one with your horse, our 36-foot round pen is perfect for lunging and other training activities. Like our outdoor arena, the round pen is equipped with regularly groomed sand/dirt footing.
At our horse boarding stables, there’s no need to trailer your horse somewhere to enjoy a trail ride! With direct access to trails, taking your horse on an adventure has never been easier.
Not all horse boarding stables can say they’re nearly connected to a state park. But when you choose our facility, you’ll be steps away from the scenic Vasquez Rocks Park and miles of trails. You can explore some of Southern California’s most beautiful scenery on horseback!
We understand you want to see your equine friend as often as possible. Fortunately, our location in Agua Dulce in the Santa Clarita area makes our horse boarding stables convenient to Los Angeles.
